Vladimir Tkachenko
Vladimir Tkachenko was born in 1973 in Russia, Volgograd city.
At the age of 6 he entered music school.
In 1988 he began musical college and switched instruments to
viola.
In 1992 he joined the Saint-Petersburg's state Conservatoire.
He has played numerous solo concerts and as a member of a
string quartet.
Vladimir graduated from the Conservatoire in 1997 and joined the
Volgograd Symphony Orchestra.
In the same year he worked as the associated principal of the
viola section in the Musical Theatre.
In 2000-2003 Vladimir worked with the Cairo Symphony
Orchestra in Egypt. (1st-2nd desk)
From 2003 he worked as a concertmaster of the Viola group of
the Cairo Chamber Orchestra.
In 2005, after a successful audition, Vladimir was appointed
sub-principal viola of the Cyprus State Orchestra.
