Janna Dimont-Sargerson - Assistant Concertmaster
Janna was born in 1975 and studied violin from the age of seven in
USSR, Israel and USA. She has performed on violin as well as on viola
with various chamber ensembles, orchestras as well as in solo recitals
locally and on tours.
From 1994 to 1998 she studied with Dr. E. Schmieder at SMU in Dallas,
Texas and received Artist Certificate in 1996 and MM in Violin
Performance in 1998.
Janna Dimont-Sargerson has lived and worked as performer and
teacher in Cyprus ever since, while regularly participating in various
festivals and master classes in other countries, such as Holland, Israel,
USA and Japan. Currently Janna is an assistant concertmaster of the
Cyprus Symphony Orchestra and a member of a professional string
quartet “Panthea”.
