Χαράλαμπος Στυλιανού
BA Honors Music, MA Music Performance
Ο Χαράλαμπος Στυλιανού γεννήθηκε στη Λεμεσό. Σε ηλικία εφτά
χρονών, άρχισε να παίρνει τα πρώτα μαθήματα βιολιού και θεωρητικών
από τον πατέρα του Παναγιώτη Στυλιανού, ο οποίος είναι
εκπαιδευτικός και καθηγητής βιολιού και ανώτερων θεωρητικών.
Από πολύ νωρίς έδειξε την κλίση του σαν εκτελεστής και πέρασε όλες
τις βαθμίδες (Grades) εξετάσεων των Royal School of Music του
Λονδίνου. Σε ηλικία δεκαέξι χρονών πήρε το Αdvance Certificate.
Στην παιδική του ηλικία έπαιζε πρώτο βιολί στην Κρατική Ορχήστρα
Νέων Κύπρου.
Υπηρέτησε επίσης στη φιλαρμονική του σχολείου του, και αργότερα στη
Στρατιωτική Μουσική της Εθνικής Φρουράς παίζοντας βιολί και κλαρίνο.
Εμφανίστηκε επίσης από την τηλεόραση.
Συνέχισε τις σπουδές του στο Anglia Polytechnic University στο
Cambridge, με την βιολινίστρια Mifune Tsuji, από το οποίο πήρε τους
τίτλους BA Honors Music και MA Music Performance.
Τον Απρίλιο του 2002 προσελήφθη κατόπι ακρόασης στην Κρατική
Ορχήστρα Κύπρου στην οποία παίζει πρώτο βιολί.
Charalambos Stylianou
BA Honors Music, MA Music Performance
Charalambos Stylianou was born in Limassol. At the age of seven he
received his first violin and theoretical lessons from his father
Panayiotis Stylianou, educator and teacher of the violin and theory of
music.
From a very early age, Charalambos showed his abilities as a
performer and passed all the examination grades of the Royal School
of Music. At the age of sixteen, he was awarded the Advance
Certificate of the Royal School of Music.
He was also a member of the Cyprus State Youth Orchestra playing
with the first violins. At his secondary school where he was in the
science department, he was a member of the school band and later a
member of a Military band playing the violin and clarinet. He also took
part in various orchestral performances on television.
He continues his studies at Anglia Polytechnic University in Cambridge
with the violinist Mifune Tsuji, where he graduated with the BA Honors
in Music and MA in Music Performance.
In April 2002, after of a successful audition, he gained a place in the
Cyprus Symphony Orchestra where he plays with the first violins.
