Amanda Constantinou
Amanda Constantinou was born in Famagusta, but
moved to South Africa where she completed her
Bachelor of Music Degree Hons in Viola
Performance.
She was a member of the National Symphony
Orchestra from 1991-96 and also played from
1994-96 in the opera and ballet orchestra of PACT
based in Pretoria.
She toured extensively with the orchestra in both
SA and abroad.As well as teaching ,she was a
member of the Serenata String Quartet.
In 1997 she joined the Natal Philharmonic
Orchestra where she played till 1999, before
joining the Cyprus Chamber Orchestra in 2000.
She has played with Pavarotti, Zubin Mehta, Kiri
De Kanawa, Ozawa, Sarah Brightman, and others.
